This picture was taken on our business trip to Orlando this month. The depth of color in this plant intrigues me and no one seemed to know the name of it. Anyone know?

Looks like a bomeliad which are very popular in Florda (land of my birth ha ha)
Kimberly, I believe you're right. Although, none of these had blooms on them but maybe because it's in the northern part of Florida. I only saw one Bird of Pardise blooming and I hunted!
daddy had several of these when we lived there (Ft Lauderdale...oh how I miss the beach and lately seem to be continually dreaming of it...gee wonder why?)
