Stay warm

It is bitter cold here today. I remembered to pull out my corn bag and heat it in the microwave for 3 minutes. It's meant to drape around the neck but works well on cold feet. It's simply a cotton bag stitched in a swirl down the middle, filled halfway with dried corn. Try it; you'll like it.

Aren't those wonderful things! I have one with buckwheat hulls and lavender in it...strange to think of you guys being so cold ;D The wind is bitter here tonight, too, and I need to head out to the barn soon. So thankful for wool boots, hats and neckwarmers!

It is still very cold here today (30s). However, that is very warm compared to where you live, Cary. (: Also, a lot warmer than where we used to own a lot in NC. The temperature is in the single digits there today. Yes, I would become a hat person in those kinds of temperatures!!

It's spring here now and pollen is everywhere. I was so ready to break away from taxes that I made time to get out the dye kit you sent. I tried to email you but the address was rejected. Dying went well, and I am now knitting! Do you still check in on Ravelry? I can pm you there.
