Tumbling Cats

This is the latest picture I have of Tumbling Cats. I have since had it blocked, applied rug tape and label and will post a picture soon. I really enjoyed hooking it and looking forward to the next project.

Margaret, that rug is just gorgeous! You do beautiful work. Can you tell me where I can find the pattern? I would love to hook it too.
Thanks,

Thanks a million, y'all. I am just now getting your comments. This rug was so much fun to hook.

Louise, I don't think the pattern is available anymore. The lady who did the rug interpretation from Dahlov Ipcar's painting passed away last year. You might google for Tumbling Cats pattern and see if there are any available. I think maybe more than one person interpreted this in a rug. So sorry as I know you would enjoy hooking it.

Hodge, it was a lot of fun to hook. It took about 6 months. Thanks so much for your kind comments.

Tumbling Cats is available in the book Hooked Rugs by Ann Davies and Emma Tennant. You will need to have it copied in the size you want and then transfer it to a backing. It is shown on a grid which makes it easy to transfer. Patty Holland
